Sanyo Supply has released two gas spring monitor arms with integrated docking stations.
They support USB Type-C connections and offer various ports, including HDMI and LAN, as well as 4K/60Hz video output.
They support monitors up to 32 inches and 10 kg, and can be installed using clamp or grommet methods.
Sanwa Supply Co., Ltd. released two gas spring monitor arms with a docking station base on June 4th. The single-monitor model "CR-LACDK1402BK" is priced at 39,600 yen, and the dual-monitor model "CR-LACDK2402BK" is priced at 57,200 yen.
Connection to the PC is via USB Type-C. The docking station features frequently connected ports like HDMI and wired LAN on the sides, while ports for frequent detachments like USB are placed on the front. The CR-LACDK1402BK has one HDMI port, while the CR-LACDK2402BK has two. When outputting to a single display, it supports up to 4K/60Hz video output. The CR-LACDK2402BK supports 4K/30Hz when outputting to two displays.
In addition to HDMI, it features various interfaces, including three USB Type-A ports, one USB Type-C port (supports up to 100W USB PD), one wired LAN port (supports Gigabit), one HDMI port (supports 4K/60Hz output), one SD card slot, one microSD card slot, and one 3.5mm headphone jack. All USB data transfer uses USB 3.2 Gen 1, and the USB Type-C port can also supply power to the connected PC through an AC adapter.
Desk mounting is supported via clamp (compatible with 20-50mm thick desktops) and grommet methods. Smooth adjustments are possible thanks to the gas spring mechanism. The monitor can be adjusted up to 90°, down to 45°, and 180° horizontally, with 360° rotation. The monitor mounting section conforms to VESA standards (75×75mm, 100×100mm) and supports liquid crystal displays up to 32 inches and 10 kg per arm. The CR-LACDK1402BK weighs approximately 2.85 kg, and the CR-LACDK2402BK weighs approximately 5.15 kg.
