Adobe, a leading creative tool provider, announced new features for "Adobe Express," a content creation app for beginners, on June 27th. Adobe Express is an app that allows you to create content such as images and videos with easy operation compared to professional tools like Photoshop or Premiere Pro. The new features added this time enhance video functionality, allowing you to add audio materials such as background music (BGM) and sound effects (SE). This feature is provided through "add-ons" that connect Adobe Express with external services.

This time, Audiostock (audio stock), an audio material site in Japan, and TikTok are providing the audio materials. Using the Audiostock add-on, you can use 100 types of audio materials. All materials are free of charge, and they plan to increase the number of materials in the future. On the other hand, TikTok provides a feature called "TikTok Symphony Assistant," which gives you access to a "commercial music library" containing over 1 million commercially available materials provided by TikTok. It is currently only available in English, but it is also available in Japan. However, videos using audio obtained through TikTok Symphony Assistant can only be posted on the TikTok platform (including TikTok Ads Manager).

No additional fees are incurred regardless of which add-on you use (available to both Adobe Express free and paid users). TikTok Symphony Assistant has posting restrictions, but it can be used for commercial purposes. Currently, only a web version is available, but it will be available in app versions on smartphones and other devices in the future.
