Salesforce Japan announced on the 5th that it will make all features of its 'Public Sector Solutions (PSS)' solution for Japanese public institutions generally available within Japan. 'PSS' is a solution that supports administrative digitization, and it features a wide range of functions including salary management, employee portal, grant management, business operator management, and social programs. Through this, it aims to digitalize administrative service workflows to improve productivity and provide prompt administrative services. For example, the 'Benefit Management' feature allows users to search, apply for, and manage eligibility for benefits from a single platform, connecting users such as residents and business operators to appropriate benefit programs and providing a convenient application process. As such, employees can properly perform benefit eligibility determination, salary calculation and allocation, and payment plan development. In addition, the 'Contact Center Management' supports operations such as responding to inquiries and providing information to consultants, such as residents and business operators, by integrating management to quickly grasp situations and provide appropriate answers. The 'Employee Experience (Employee Portal)' provides employees with a portal that allows them to search for and read information necessary for work, and use various application workflows and supplies procurement, etc., providing an environment that is easy for employees to operate and streamlining human resource recruitment, procurement management, and IT processes. Since March 2023, Salesforce has been providing 'License & Permit Management' and 'Inspection Management' of 'PSS' in Japan as products that support the digitization of permission management operations by public institutions. The General Incorporated Association Kyushu Tourism Organization introduced some functions of 'PSS' from 2024 onwards, achieving employee work efficiency and cost reduction.
